Power of Attorney and Elderly Matters

With more of us living longer and often needing help with management of our affairs this is an increasingly important area of the law. If prompt action is taken by putting in place Lasting Power of Attorney appointing the person you choose to be able to manage your affairs this can avoid problems which occur if you lose mental capacity and save your family much time and expense.

If it is too late and you need help managing affairs where a person has lost capacity we will help deal with the Court of Protection Application and arrange for a suitable Deputy to be appointed. This dovetails with our Wills and Probate department as (where possible) a Will is often desirable.

Outside appointments at your home or Nursing Home can be arranged.
